Jeffrey Stockbridge. Please see his bio below. Jeffrey Stockbridge (b.1982) is a photographer that pursues
mulit-year location specific projects documenting urban blight. Upon finishing his Undergraduate Degree at
Drexel University in 2005, he placed runner up in the New York Times Magazine “Capture the Times”
college photography contest. Stockbridge is a recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts
Grant, Independence Foundation Fellowship in the Arts Grant and a Center For Emerging Visual Artists
Fellowship. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at The National Portrait
Gallery London, The Wapping Project Bankside, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Institute of
Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania, The Fleisher Art Memorial, The Delaware Art Museum, and
Galerie Huit in Arles, France. Recent awards include 3rd Prize in the 2010 Taylor-Wessing
Photographic Portrait Prize at The National Portrait Gallery in London. Stockbridge is represented by The Wapping
Project Bankside in London, UK. Stockbridge lives and works in Philadelphia, PA.
